The FAQ
Do you Travel?
I can travel to nearby surrounding areas within 30 minutes of Atlanta. I am open to further travel, just reach out to discuss what that would entail.
How long have you been doing this?
Since I held my first SLR camera at age 15. My photography hobby began with shooting photos of friends in bands, urban street photography, and candid portraits. These days I focus on digital photography and editing. My love of family portraits has grown into something I love to share.
How many photos do we get?
Different sessions include a variety of photo quantity options.
A 'mini-session' will include usually 9-12 photos.
'Full-session' can include 20-50 (or more depending on how many hours have been discussed).
How do we get our photos?
You will be emailed or texted a link to your own private gallery within my client portal. It will include viewing & downloading passwords for your own privacy.
Do you retouch photos?
Yes.
I do basic editing after a shoot.
If there is something specific you already know you don't want visible in your photos, let me know - and I can work on them in edit (breakouts, wounds, and accidents can happen near the day of shoot).
If you get your photos and see something that doesn't quite fit your vision, retouches can be discussed for a small extra fee.
Whats your turn around time?
Typically within 7 business days. It depends on how many photos are included in the session and the season.
I will always send sneak peeks, and favorite shots, so you can share your excitement as soon as possible.
How do we book you?
After we've discussed what kind of package works for you, I will point you in the direction of my booking website. There you can select your date, time, session, and confirmation steps.
Can you help us with planning?
Always.
If you're unsure how many photos or hours you would need, I'm happy to help figure that out for you depending on your occasion.
If you have a creative vision for a specific photoshoot, let's collaborate! We can discuss adding flowers, backdrops, times of day, lighting, or props.
How far out do you book?
3 months. Further dates can be discussed and considered depending on the event.
What should we wear?
Anything you feel your best in.
I usually have a lint roller handy for darker clothing.
Clothing to avoid:
brands, logos, graphic tees, anything that wrinkles easy. If something feels too itchy or uncomfortable, it will often be distracting and keep you from relaxing in your session.
